What you’ll do:

Lead customer-centric initiatives within the Customer Experience team to enhance Ascendon's SaaS offering.

Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, engineers, and QA teams on the strategic roadmap and specific client projects.

Contribute as a full-spectrum designer to every stage of the design lifecycle—from initial research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and delivery, with a focus on user-centered solutions.

Create and refine high-fidelity prototypes with a strong focus on interface, interaction, and visual design, ensuring alignment with usability best practices and accessibility standards.

Design and contribute to developing a multi-channel, multi-theme design pattern library, ensuring consistency across platforms (native and web) and brands, focused on reusability and efficiency.
You should have:

Over 5 years of experience in UX/UI design roles, backed by a degree in a design-related field, and a passion for technology and innovative design.

Proven experience working with and contributing to design systems and pattern libraries, utilizing atomic design principles to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency in design solutions.

Comfortable designing responsive interfaces across a broad range of platforms, including mobile and web, ensuring an optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.

Proficient in collaborating with engineers, QA teams, and senior management to translate technical requirements into cohesive and efficient design solutions.

A user-centric mindset with a strong focus on creating intuitive, accessible, and meaningful experiences that meet user needs and business goals throughout the design process.

A commitment to lean, agile methodologies, with a problem-driven approach to design, and a dedication to driving continuous improvement and innovation in design practices.
Our design principles
Purposeful driven: Every design element, from the largest to the smallest, must have a purpose, and contribute to the purpose of a larger element it is part of, ultimately leading the system to achieve Ascendon's purpose. If you can’t explain what an element is for, most likely it shouldn’t be there.
Agnostic design: The design should be technology and style agnostic. Each component can be independently altered, substituted or upgraded to create new experiences. By managing the perceptual patterns separately from the functional ones, we can quickly customize styles using themes and merge them seamlessly with existing experiences.
Don’t reinvent the wheel: Don’t reinvent the wheel, just redesign it. Our experiences are original but familiar and predictable, we earn our clients' credibility by making their users feel empowered. We strive for intuitive and consistent experiences and differentiate only in places where it really matters.
Connect with the customer: Make it feel personal. Ease of use isn’t the only measure of a positive user experience; pleasurably is just as important. Something can be dead simple, but if it’s outrageously boring or cold it can feel harder to get through. Designs should have flourishes of warmth, kindness, whimsy, richness, seduction, wit — anything that incites passion and makes the person feel engaged and energized.
