You will leverage xAI’s models and algorithms to create a new generation of delightful consumer products and experiences and scale this out to millions of users around the world.
You’ll work with us on:- Deeply understanding with use cases and user goals broken down by demographic
- Collecting user feedback and diving into product analytics to guide product decisions
- Work with engineering to design and prototype features on our flagship AI products
- Polishing every minute product detail to an extreme UX standard
- Creating new and emergent experiences using AI
- Have worked in teams as a founding designer
- Have owned the development of widely-used product features
- Believe in high self agency
- Have a deep interest in language models
- Have thrived in a research culture: resolving ambiguity, embracing failure, and crystallizing what matters
- Strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms.
After submitting your application, the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 15 minute interview (“phone interview”) during which a member of our team will ask some basic questions. If you clear the initial phone interview, you will enter the main process:
- Portfolio deep-dive: Walking through your design process and past works
- A take-home design challenge
- Meet and greet with the wider team.
Our goal is to finish the main process within one week.
Annual Salary Range
$180,000 - $440,000 USD
