Job DescriptionJob Profile: Product Designer
Years of Experience: 2-4 years in B2B / internal tools / platform ecosystems
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
About the role:
The Product Designer will be responsible for tasks coming from overall Instamart Supply Chain charter, including New Initiatives, Planning & Procurement, POD Operations, Vendor / Supply Portal. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional partners: product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and fellow designers, to build intuitive, scalable systems that streamline internal operations and improve business agility.
What qualities are we looking for?
Own Key Charters: Own and deliver high-impact design outcomes across the Pricing, Catalog, and Finance charters within Instamart’s internal platform ecosystems.
Drive End-to-End Projects: Independently lead 2–3 major projects per quarter, taking them from initial problem framing through execution to implementation validation.
Solve Complex Business Problems: Translate ambiguous, unstructured business challenges into clear, system-level design solutions with defined success metrics.
Optimize Workflows: Enhance operational efficiency, decision-making speed, and error reduction within critical internal supply chain and pricing/catalog workflows.
Collaborate Across Teams: Proactively close dependencies and align with Product, Tech, and Operations teams to deliver scalable, implementation-resilient designs.
Who are we looking for?
Experience: A designer with 2- 4 years of experience, ideally working in B2B, internal tools, platforms, or complex, workflow-heavy domains like logistics, fintech, or SaaS.
Problem Structuring Mastery: Ability to take highly ambiguous, messy problems and convert them into clear, logical flows, systems, and decisions rather than just visual screens.
Strong Systems Thinking: Exceptional craft in producing dev-ready, logically complete designs that account for edge cases, error states, and alignment with Design Language Systems (DLS).
User & Business Grounding: Ability to connect user needs to business goals and impact, relying on user and business immersion rather than assumptions to drive design decisions.
High Ownership & Independence: An independent self-starter who thrives in evolving, low-structure environments and has a strong bias for action without needing constant direction
We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by the law.
