Frequently Asked Questions

What is a day in the life of a Senior Product Designer?

    • You independently own the Campaigns design scope end to end, from discovery through delivery, without needing someone to hold the brief together for you.
    • You work closely inside a fullstack pod alongside a Product Manager, frontend and backend developers, and a dev lead, with no handoff model and real shared ownership of what ships.
    • You refactor and professionalize existing design patterns, using AI tooling like a fully loaded Claude with connectors and Claude Code for rapid prototyping straight into testing.
    • You act as a UX ambassador, challenging scope simplifications and advocating for the user when shortcuts are tempting.
    • You get out and talk to real customers, running usability tests and discovery interviews rather than relying only on craft in Figma.
    •

What will I need to thrive in this role?

      • Senior-level product design experience with a track record of owning a scope independently.
      • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to push back and say no, backed by concrete examples.
      • Real research and testing experience, not just visual craft in a design tool.
      • Comfort with fast, ambiguous, short-cycle work: three-week sprints with almost no cooldown between them.
      • Fluent Czech and English, since you'll be working in both languages with the team and others every day.
      •

What does high performance look like?

        • You ship independently within the team's three-week cadence without needing heavy process scaffolding.
        • Your design decisions are backed by real user contact and testing, not just craft polish.
        • You raise the consistency and maturity of the team's design output over time, and other designers start coming to you for guidance.
        • You can defend a point of view in a room where people initially disagree, and know when to hold the line and when to let it go.
        • Some examples might include these:

          • You follow through with all assignments in a timely manner
          • You give 100% to all tasks and projects you are given
          • You will take full ownership of your projects and follow through to completion
          •

What is my potential for career growth?
As the Campaigns and Product Insights execution scopes consolidate over the coming months, this role's scope and influence are expected to widen. There's also a deeper AI product integration (Pi) on the horizon, including possible chat-style interfaces, that this role will help shape. If you have mentoring experience or want to build it, there's room to become the go-to design resource the rest of the team is sent to.

What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?
In the first 30 days, you ramp into the team's current workflows, design system, and the Campaigns product itself, and run your first project inside a three-week sprint.
By 60 days, you're owning pieces of the Campaigns scope independently and starting to identify where existing design patterns need refactoring.
By 90 days, you're shipping end to end without hand-holding, bringing real research and testing into your work, and starting to influence how the wider team delivers.

            What is the team like?
You will work with the other members of the fullstack Campaigns pod, the Product Manager, frontend and backend developers, and dev lead, and be supervised by Ondřej Krobot, Design Lead. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
