This role is for one of the Weekday's clients
Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 8000000 (ie INR 20-80 LPA)
Min Experience: 4+ years
Location: Bengaluru
JobType: full-time
As a Product Designer, you'll own the end-to-end experience of a platform where customers build, test, deploy and monitor AI voice agents. You'll turn complex, real-time system behaviour — call orchestration, turn-taking, transcripts and analytics — into interfaces that feel simple and obvious. You'll work closely with the product, engineering and AI teams and have real ownership over craft, usability and the product's visual identity.
Requirements
What You'll Do
• Own product design end-to-end — from research and user flows to high-fidelity UI and polished, shippable specs.
• Design the core platform experience: building, testing, deploying and continuously improving AI voice agents from one place.
• Turn complex, real-time behaviour (call orchestration, turn-taking, live transcripts) into clear, intuitive interfaces.
• Design data-dense dashboards and analytics — call performance, quality metrics, transcripts and monitoring.
• Build and maintain the design system and component library as the product scales.
• Prototype interactions — including real-time and conversational/voice UX — to pressure-test ideas quickly.
• Run lightweight user research with operators and business users, and turn insight into design decisions.
• Partner closely with engineering to ship fast, and own the quality of what actually ends up in production.
What We're Looking For
• 4–8 years of product design experience, ideally on web apps, SaaS or B2B tools.
• A strong portfolio showing end-to-end product work — problem, process and shipped outcome.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills, with high craft and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping workflows.
• Experience designing complex, data-dense or workflow-heavy products.
• Systems thinking — you build and maintain design systems, not just one-off screens.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias to own problems end-to-end in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and drive designs through to production quality.
Nice to Have
• Experience designing developer tools, platforms, dashboards or admin/console products.
• Experience with voice, conversational or real-time UI.
• Experience designing for AI / ML products.
• Ability to prototype in code (HTML/CSS) or work fluently with front-end engineers.
• Motion and advanced prototyping skills (e.g. Framer, Principle, After Effects).
• Startup or 0-to-1 experience.
What Matters Most
• You care deeply about craft — the details others skip are the ones you sweat.
• You think in systems, not just screens.
• You can take something complex and make it feel simple.
• You move fast and take ownership.
• You want to build products used by millions.
