Role Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to help us create intuitive and user-friendly product experiences from brainstorming to delivery. We believe that design plays a crucial role in building useful, simple and trustworthy AI. You'll play a key role in shaping our vision and pushing the boundaries of what AI can bring to millions of individuals and businesses. You’ll work alongside designers, product managers, software engineers and research scientists to deliver experiences that transform how users interact with our technology.

What you will do
Key Responsibilities
Design Excellence
- Own the end-to-end design process, from user research and ideation to prototyping and delivery.
- Translate our vision, brand and core values into beautifully crafted user interfaces.
- Define scalable design systems, principles, patterns and documentation.
Prototyping
- Continuously test, measure and refine to achieve meaningful outcomes and impactful solutions.
- Rapidly iterate prototype ideas using code and no-code methods to communicate concepts and build excitement.
- Work within a lean UX environment to quickly prototype, test and refine ideas in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Discovery
- Get a deep understanding of our users, uncover unmet needs and identify opportunities.
- Drive user research and iterative design grounding your work in data-driven analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with other designers, product managers, software engineers, research scientists and other internal stakeholders to define our product vision, strategy and roadmaps.
- Introduce design solutions clearly to stakeholders at all levels articulating the "why" behind your decisions.
Strategic thinking
- Tackle systems-level problems with numerous interconnected constraints
- Find creative ways to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced and sometimes scrappy startup environment
Representative projects
- Build intuitive tooling to ensure the successful rollout of Le Chat to large organizations (data connections, document library...)
- Remove enterprise adoption barriers through design
- Contribute to the development of a state-of-the-art design system, including comprehensive component documentation
- Design intuitive and scalable self-serve solutions
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in Product Design including all or part of the following: UX design, UX research, UI design, motion design, project management, 0-to-1 products, front-end development, product marketing.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe suite, and a solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
• A self-starter who is results-oriented, resourceful, innovative, intellectually curious, and who takes initiative and risks.
• No ego and highly committed to deliver.
• Highly collaborative and able to balance multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Professional behavior with personal accountability, drive and strong work ethics.
• Target driven, detail oriented and approachable with the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.

• Have hands-on experience with motion design
• Share our excitement for the AI/LLM space
• Drive projects independently, make judgements based on brand and business goals, seek feedback, collaborate cross-functionally and leverage others' expertise
• Maintain high design standards without perfectionism, understand tradeoffs of fast-paced work
• Understand audience feelings, cultures and challenges through an inquisitive and learning-based approach
Location & Remote
The position is based in our Paris HQ offices and we encourage going to the office as much as we can (at least 3 days per week) to create bonds and smooth communication. Our remote policy aims to provide flexibility, improve work-life balance and increase productivity. Each manager can decide the amount of days worked remotely based on autonomy and a specific context (e.g. more flexibility can occur during summer). In any case, employees are expected to maintain regular communication with their teams and be available during core working hours.
