The Sword Growth team is looking for a creative and strategic Growth Product Designer who is passionate about crafting user experiences that drive growth and enhance user engagement. Growth at Sword focuses on the initial user journey, including the enrollment and onboarding processes, which are built on web platforms, with a great focus on smartphone devices.


What you'll be doing:

  • User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, and user journeys to understand our users and their needs;
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize and communicate design solutions;
  • Responsive design: Ensuring the user interface adapts smoothly to different screen sizes, resolutions, and device types;
  • Visual Content Production: Provide engaging visuals that align with our brand guidelines and translate the Sword’s personality, with a focus on testing, performance, and personalization;
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketers to ensure design solutions align with business goals and technical constraints;
  • Data-Driven Design: Utilize analytics, A/B testing, and user feedback to inform and iterate on design decisions;
  • Design System Management: Contribute to and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products;
  • Growth Initiatives: Focus on improving key growth metrics such as user acquisition, retention, and engagement through innovative design solutions;
  • Enrolment/Onboarding Experiences: Design seamless and intuitive flows that guide users through the initial stages of using our products;
  • Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience.

What you need to have:

  • 2-4 years of experience in product design, with a focus on growth, onboarding, or user engagement;
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, and Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc);
  •  A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, visual design work, user research insights, and final designs;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-informed design decisions;
  • Experience in interpreting user data, both qualitative and quantitative, and design solutions focused on goals and metrics;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities;
  • Must be proficient and highly skilled in Figma;
  • Design for accessibility. Design Systems: Understanding of Design Systems and atomic design principles;
  • Ability to express ideas through wireframing and prototyping.

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently but also collaborative and driven by group critique;
  • A thought leader in composition and integration, considering the broader scope of products;
  • A good understanding of how design translates to code and how your decisions will affect development complexity and timelines.
