What You'll Do: 

As the Product Designer, E-Commerce, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, and User Researchers, to design and deliver intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional SaaS applications. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Create user-centered design solutions that align with our product goals and user needs 

  • Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and user flows effectively 

  • Strong UX competency with the ability to design elegant and intuitive user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience while ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines. 

  • Collaborate with user researchers to conduct user interviews, usability testing, and other research activities to inform design decisions 

  • Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing results, and evolving product requirements 

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are technically feasible and align with product roadmaps 

  • Prepare detailed design specifications, guidelines, and assets for development teams 

  • Keep up to date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging best practices in UX/UI design 

 

Who You Are: 

  • Passionate about User experience and human-centered design and enthusiastic about helping purpose driven organizations 

  • Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 3+ years of experience in product design for web-based SaaS applications 

  • Designing for accessibility and inclusivity 

  • Empathy-driven design 

  • Optimizing for conversion and user engagement 

  •  Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies, required 

  • User-Centered Design: Deep understanding of UX principles, with a focus on creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for web-based SaaS applications. 

  • Prototyping & Wireframing: Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to create detailed prototypes and wireframes that clearly communicate design ideas. 

  • Usability Testing & Research: Expertise in conducting user research, usability testing, and interpreting feedback to inform design decisions and improve the user experience. 

  • Accessibility Best Practices: Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and a commitment to designing inclusive and accessible experiences for all users. 

  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication: Strong ability to communicate design decisions to stakeholders, collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members in an agile environment. 

  • Front-End Awareness: Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to ensure design feasibility and seamless implementation. 

  • Agile & Iterative Design: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, with an emphasis on iterative design processes, rapid prototyping, and continuous user feedback. 

  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to identify user pain points and creatively solve design challenges with a focus on improving user satisfaction. 

  • Mobile Design Experience: Proficiency in designing for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a consistent and optimized experience across mobile devices. 

 

Physical Considerations: 

  • Ability to work in a general office environment 

  • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone 

  • Ability to work flexible and long hours, as needed, including outside regular business hours and days 

 

Travel Considerations: 

  • Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 5%
