Centah is a SaaS company, that helps home improvement businesses manage lead intake, routing, and conversion through a configurable platform at the center of their operations.

We’re at a pivotal moment. After years of building custom solutions for a small number of large clients, we’re now evolving into a scalable, market-wide SaaS platform. This transition is intentional and comes with real opportunity. You won’t be maintaining a mature product, you’ll be helping shape what it becomes.

The work here is hands-on and high-impact, with real ownership and visibility across the business. You’ll collaborate closely with different teams, contribute to key decisions, and see the direct impact of your work.

We’re looking for people who are excited to build, take ownership, and play a meaningful role in what Centah becomes next.

About the role:

You create simple, compelling, and meaningful product experiences that enable a wide variety of users to achieve their goals. You are a creative problem solver and communicator, delivering concepts from initial sketches through to testing and evaluating final implementations. You like to show your work and believe every design has a great story to tell.

Reporting to the Director of Product and working seamlessly as a part of our product and engineering teams, your empathy for users, and detailed approach to design, will assist our team in building a remarkable platform experience that centers effortless design as a cornerstone of our reputation. With thorough user research skills and an impeccable visual design sense you will champion efficient interfaces that accentuate our functionality.

What you’ll do:

  • Actively contribute at every stage of the project lifecycle, collaborating with the project team to brainstorm concepts, develop creative solutions, and design user flows while meeting deadlines.
  • Own core component libraries to evolve the Centah design system, driving the design, specification, and maintenance of complex UI components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of craft and usability.
  • Champion visual quality and craft, ensuring that every component—from buttons to complex data tables—is polished, accessible, and aligned with our brand identity.
  • Demonstrate curiosity about user behavior and leverage quantitative and qualitative research to inform product and design decisions.
  • Work closely with product stakeholders refining requirements, performing user interviews and running internal feedback sessions to find opportunities for usability improvement within the platform.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure technical feasibility, accepting input and feedback from different groups and making occasional compromises to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Prioritize UX debt by understanding complex information architecture and system mapping.
  • Synthesizing requirements from many sources into elegant succinct designs.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A portfolio of high-caliber work that showcases your design process from initial research to high-fidelity, responsive design.
