Business Analyst operates with greater independence, owning end-to-end analysis for moderately complex business initiatives. This role bridges business and technical teams, drives requirement definition, supports solution design, and contributes to process optimization.
Responsibilities- Requirements Management
- Independently elicit, analyse, and document business/functional requirements for assigned initiatives.
- Translate business needs into clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact between business units and technical/IT teams.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and status reviews with stakeholders.
- Process & Solution Analysis
- Analyse current business processes and recommend improvements, including automation and AI-enabled solutions.
- Support solution design discussions and validate feasibility with technical teams.
- Data Analysis & Insights
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making; build reports/dashboards using tools like Power BI/Excel.
- Apply AI/analytics tools to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
- Project & Delivery Support
- Manage BA deliverables within project timelines; track risks/issues related to requirements.
- Lead UAT planning and execution, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
- Governance & Documentation
- Ensure documentation meets Ford's audit, compliance, and quality standards.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, design, and testing.
- Mentorship & Collaboration
- Provide guidance to entry-level analysts.
