Here’s what you’ll do:
- Own the full design lifecycle — from discovery and research to ideation, prototyping, visual design, delivery, and iteration.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to translate user insights and strategic goals into impactful experiences.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and opportunities, turning insights into actionable design solutions.
- Design elegant, responsive, and accessible user interfaces in Figma, ensuring every interaction feels seamless and intuitive.
- Work with, add to, and maintain a scalable Design System — including components, documentation, and interaction patterns — to ensure consistency and speed across platforms.
- Rapidly prototype new ideas using tools like Figma Make and v0, leveraging AI to accelerate exploration and validation.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure design intent is implemented effectively — and, where possible, contribute to front-end prototypes using AI-assisted coding workflows.
- Continuously measure and refine design decisions based on product data, user feedback, and key success metrics.
Here are the skills you should have:
- A passion for designing products that make a real impact and solve meaningful user problems.
- 4+ years of experience designing digital products end-to-end, with a portfolio showcasing shipped work across web and mobile platforms.
- Strong skills in user research, usability testing, and turning insights into product decisions.
- Proven experience designing high-quality interfaces and managing design systems from the ground up.
- Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools, including AI-powered solutions like Figma Make or v0. Experience and familiarity with coding is a huge plus!
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers and PMs throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Curiosity about technical implementation and comfort discussing design decisions with technical depth.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to articulate design rationale to diverse stakeholders.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience building 0→1 products or working in early-stage environments.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Understanding of front-end fundamentals (e.g., HTML, CSS, Tailwind) and the ability to prototype or code with AI tools.
- Experience in AI products consumer/B2C products and/or designing for developer-focused platforms.
