The Role
Our mission on the Advertising Product & Technology team is to build a next generation advertising platform that aligns with our unique value proposition for audio and video. We work to scale the user experience for hundreds of millions of fans and hundreds of thousands of advertisers. We're looking for a mid-level Product Designer to join the Ads Design team, someone with a strong visual foundation and systems mindset who can craft beautiful, on-brand consumer ad experiences that scale across formats, platforms, and a global audience.
What You'll Do
- Work on consumer-facing projects across the Spotify Advertising Platform to develop design solutions that feel native, polished, and on-brand
- Guide product development through visual explorations and high-fidelity prototypes, leveraging AI tools to move faster and push the quality of your craft
- Partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to define solutions and contribute to longer-term strategy
- Work with user research teams to scope and support ongoing research projects that inform the consumer ad experience
- Design solutions with inclusivity and accessibility at the forefront, ensuring experiences work for listeners worldwide
- Share your work regularly with peers and participate in design reviews with design and company leadership
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of relevant product design experience
- You have a strong visual design foundation and care deeply about the details that elevate work from good to great
- You're curious about AI - whether that's using AI tools in your workflow, designing AI-powered features, or both
- You have experience designing consumer-facing products, ideally at scale
- You enjoy working through ambiguity and can navigate spaces where there isn't always a clear path forward
- You believe in a culture of feedback and actively seek out input on your work and thinking
- Experience in advertising, media, or content-adjacent spaces is a plus

- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, it can be within the North America region in which we have a work location.
- This team collaborates across the Eastern time zone
The United States base range for this position is $119,424.00 - 170,606.00, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
