We are seeking an experienced Product Design Manager to lead, mentor and develop a team of talented designers in changing how companies and people do good in the world. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to guide the end-to-end product development process. By combining strategic vision with team development, you’ll champion the creation of exceptional user experiences that drive community engagement and amplify philanthropic initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Mentor and develop a team of talented designers to create impactful outcomes that empower global brands to do good
  • Develop and execute a product portfolio experience strategy with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders that aligns with Benevity’s mission of driving positive social impact
  • Utilize user research and analytics to inform design decisions that enhance the user experience and drive business results
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, advocating for user-centered design that aligns with Benevity’s social impact goals
  • Oversee the end-to-end product design process, ensuring that the product experience team is working effectively across the entire product development lifecycle
  • Continuously optimize design processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Recruit, hire, and develop top-tier design talent to build a diverse and inclusive team
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, collaborative work environment fostering innovation and creativity

What you’ll bring:

  • At least 12 years of experience designing SaaS products with a deep understanding of the nuances of working for enterprise customers
  • At least 4 years of people leadership experience leading product designers within a SaaS organization
  • A strong foundation in user-centered design principles and a proven track record of delivering exceptional user experiences
  • A tangible commitment to inclusive design practices and a strong understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Proven track record of levelling up teams using Figma, research practices, facilitation methods, and other product design frameworks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with product managers, engineers, and other senior stakeholders
  • Proven track record of executing ux research and using data-driven insights to inform design decisions and measure impact
  • Experience recruiting and hiring top-tier designers focusing on building diverse and inclusive teams
  • A history of developing and mentoring designers, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
