As the Product Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end experience of our in-house apps, and influencing the broader Platform ecosystem. You will lead, coach and empower a team of designers while partnering with product and engineering leadership to ensure a shared, long-term vision for how our products evolve. Your role extends beyond execution: you will drive clarity, decision-making and alignment across teams to deliver exceptional, user-centric outcomes that support business growth and operational excellence.

Operating in a centralized model, we collaborate with multiple Scrum teams and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization. Our design practice combines structured discovery, continuous user research, and established delivery processes. Beyond sprint work, we proactively identify opportunities, remove design friction, and elevate the maturity of the product and team. As a Product Design Lead, you will:
Cross-functional collaboration
- Partner closely with PMs, POs and Engineering Leads to align on goals, success metrics and delivery plans.
- Translate complex requirements into actionable design direction and clear problem definitions.
- Advocate for design within the product development lifecycle and ensure designers have the context they need.
- Help teams uncover root causes, validate assumptions and turn insights into clear design strategies.
Team excellence
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of product designers, supporting their growth and performance.
- Set expectations around craft, process and communication to build a high-performing team culture.
- Collaborate closely with UX Researchers, ensuring alignment on user metrics, research priorities and insight-generation. Support their ownership of user data by integrating findings directly into design strategy, planning and product decision-making.
- Establish feedback loops and coaching frameworks that elevate design quality and autonomy.
- Drive AI-led initiatives and introduce tools, workflows and automation that enhance team efficiency, reduce manual overhead and accelerate delivery.
- Enhance and evolve the Design System with a focus on scalability, consistency and cross-product alignment.
Ensure quality, consistency & scalability of design solutions
- Uphold high standards of product design quality across all design deliverables.
- Promote design consistency across platform apps, collaborating with the DesignOps.
What you’ll bring
- Deep experience defining product design strategy and aligning it with product, engineering and business objectives.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop designers with different strengths and seniority levels.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, enabling clarity, influence and cross-functional alignment.
- A mindset centered on user value, continuous learning and iterative delivery.
- Experience shaping team culture, promoting experimentation and fostering collaborative ways of working.
- Ability to operate at multiple altitudes: from high-level vision to hands-on support when needed.
- A track record of elevating design quality and maturing design processes within complex product ecosystems.
- Experience working with mature design systems and ensuring consistent adoption across multiple products and teams.
- Experience with data-informed design — using analytics, user metrics, experimentation results and behavioral data to guide design decisions, validate solutions and shape the design strategy.

- Experience in sports-betting products or large-scale in-house platforms.
- Startup or scale-up experience, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments.
