We are looking for a Product Design Intern to join our SaaS Product team in Paris. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Product Designer and User Researcher on strategic initiatives focused on user pain point, heuristic design, product innovation, design system and user research.
You will contribute to understanding user needs, designing innovative solutions, identifying market opportunities, improving product decision-making through data, and exploring how AI can accelerate product design processes. This role is ideal for a candidate who combines strong analytical skills with curiosity about digital solutions, UX and UI design, technology trends, and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design
Assist in creating user-centred design solutions by leveraging design heuristic and user research’s insights.
Help building pixel-perfect interfaces using the group’s design system.
Prepare and present design proposals and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
Stay updated on design trends, best practices and emerging tools in product design to contribute fresh ideas to the team.
Help document user flows and specifications to ensure smooth handover to development teams.
Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Learn to read qualitative and quantitative data, write hypotheses, and iterate based on results.
Team collaboration
Attend Design handoff with engineers, product managers and business,
Collaborate with product managers, engineers and other designers to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design concepts.
Actively participate in the Design and Product teams rituals. ·
Knowledge, skills and experience required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factor Engineering, Industrial or Digital Design, Cognitive Science, Psychology or a related field.
Problem-solving mindset.
Ability to transform complex user pain points into digital interface.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Curious mindset with interest in human behavior and product development.
Comfortable working independently and proactively.
