As a Product Design Intern, you will join a team that works diligently to understand and solve our customers' most challenging problems. You will learn how to be a successful product designer at a high-growth enterprise technology company that operates at the important intersection of data and AI. You will have a dedicated mentor and will join our 2025 intern cohort where you'll connect with product managers, engineers, designers, account teams, other interns, and leaders from across the company.
This is a 12-week paid summer internship program.
The impact you will have:
- Work with a cross-functional team to build features for the Databricks platform
- Manage your project end-to-end, from discovery and ideation through final design prototype for engineering to implement from
- Conduct research with customers to better understand their needs and improve your design
What we look for:
- Pursuing a degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or Spring 2027
- You have excellent interaction design skills with knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and usability.
- You use analytical skills to make data-driven decisions (e.g. analyze product usage)
- You have exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex topics simple and clearly communicate nuance to partners (engineers, customers, field, etc.) in both written and verbal form
- You are excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticpates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
