As Product Design Director for the Doctolib Operating System, you will drive the design vision, strategy, and execution for our professional platform, which is used by hundreds of thousands of health professionals every day to manage patient care and run their practices. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our users interact with AI to improve health outcomes and revolutionize clinical workflows. As a leader, you will empower and coach an international team of Product and Content Designers in this space, as well as work closely with product, engineering, medical, and data leaders to build the best clinical product in healthcare.
What You’ll Do
- Define, defend and champion the design vision of the Operating System to executive leadership and stakeholders, advocating for the value of great design in healthcare.
- Drive innovation in clinician experiences, ensuring our OS delivers tangible improvements in care, workflow, and decision-making.
- Drive the design vision for AI-powered clinical workflows, focusing on seamless and intuitive human-machine interaction and trustworthy, explainable AI in a clinical context.
- Champion a user-centered, evidence-based design culture, driven by clear goals and metrics for design quality, usability, and business impact, ensuring the team consistently delivers measurable outcomes and real clinical impact in every interaction.
- Empower and inspire an international team of designers to deliver best-in-class design; giving them autonomy and support to not only solve the industry’s most challenging problems, but to also grow as design leaders themselves
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years in Product/UX design, with significant experience in the healthcare space, AI-driven product design leadership, or other complex industry.
- 8+ years in design leadership roles, including experience scaling and empowering high-performing design teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a compelling design vision to align and energize executive leadership towards action.
- Deep expertise in user-centered design, impact measurement, and operational excellence.
- Strong portfolio showcasing human-machine interaction, technology-driven solutions, and complex workflow design, whether in healthcare or another similar industry setting.
