Job Title: Product Definition Specialist
About Your Business Area/Department:
Define and create new solutions that will shape our customers’ travel experience.
Summary of the role:
Support new/existing customers in the integration of Amadeus products or solutions. We are looking for a professional Business Analyst who will be responsible for building and maintaining solutions for our customers which bring value and competitive advantage for Selling Connect Customizations.
In this role you’ll:
- You will build, develop, and test front-end/backend applications to deliver solutions according to the customer’s expectations and needs. You will draw up technical documents and implement potential improvements.
- Works autonomously within defined processes and procedures or methodologies, takes standard decisions and may support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature.
- Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles or manager, with regular monitoring on the status of the assignments.
- May have specialized formal education or the equivalent work experience and has the required technical and functional skills and basic knowledge of the business.
Specific accountabilities:
- Analyze customer systems and service requirements.
- Identify specific actions necessary to integrate Amadeus products/services.
- Establish and manage the product/solution integration schedule.
- Determine and document adaptations to Amadeus products and services.
- Write functional specifications used for customization and/or verify that specifications reflect customer requirements.
- Test flows and functionalities of customized products/solutions meet specified requirements.
- Guarantee that customized products/solutions meet specified requirements.
- Perform the necessary tests on the customized solution before it is delivered to the customer.
- Deliver customer training on the solution when necessary.
- Provide functional support and problem resolution to sales and/or customer functional staff.
- Maintain a documentation reflecting all functionalities delivered throughout bespoke solutions in order to facilitate the reusability.
- Support sales activities through the presentation and documentation concerning product/solution integration.
