Product Definition, Applications Manager

Job Summary:

Searching for a talented semiconductor Applications Manager and Product Definer with direct experience related to sensing devices (capacitive, magnetic/hall) in automotive, industrial or consumer applications. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead applications team and manage priorities to align with company goals. (10%)

• Define next generation products (specs, features, etc) based on future customer needs, innovative ideas, competitive analysis, regulatory trends, marketing and R&D inputs, cost constraints, etc. (30%)

• Generate and update marketing definition and datasheet. (10%)

• Work closely with R&D throughout the design phase and until production release to address any definition-related topic. (20%)

• Prepare technical training and promotional material to ensure new product success. (10%)

• Hold technical training to sales/reps/distis/partners worldwide. (10%)

• Visit key customers to understand their challenges/needs and promote new products. (10%)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree required. Master’s in electrical engineering preferred.

• 5+ years related semiconductor Applications Management and Product Definition experience.

• Experience with sensing technologies (capacitive, magnetic/hall).

• Good analog and mixed signal circuitry knowledge.  

• Self-driven, strong troubleshooting skills as well as adhering to project deadlines and business objectives.

• Able to work in and foster a teamwork environment with a demonstrated ability to share technical knowledge with others.

• Must be an effective communicator with the ability to interface at all levels within the organization, possessing a thorough command of the English language, written as well as verbal.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in automotive is highly desirable.

• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable (French/German/Italian/Chinese/Korean/Japanese)

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000.  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
