Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate analysis of end-to-end business flows (request-to-response processes).
- Identify integration requirements and customer-specific considerations.
- Document current vs future integration models (API-based, event-driven, or partner-supported).
- Align early with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Partners.
- Define integration flows and their behaviors (inbound/outbound, synchronous/asynchronous).
- Validate authentication methods, connectivity, data formats, and quality expectations.
- Identify error handling and resiliency requirements.
- Document risks, assumptions, and dependencies clearly.
- Define and confirm API payloads and event schemas.
- Clarify mandatory vs optional fields and related business rules.
- Ensure APIs/events are documented for easy integration and compliance with data policies.
- Provide context for the business meaning behind APIs, events, and data fields.
- Offer functional input for architecture decisions based on business impact.
- Work with teams to address edge cases and exceptions effectively.
- Break down features into clear, integration-ready user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Support planning, refinement, and dependency coordination.
- Validate testing for functional readiness, error handling, and resiliency.
- Contribute to partner enablement through shared integration guidance and documentation.
About You (Education & Experience)
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) as a Product Development Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
- Background in system integrations, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile or SAFe practices, testing processes, and compliance considerations.
