Job Description

As product data manager you will be part of the digital product management within the central Marketing & Strategy function. You are enabling profitable and sustainable sales and growth by steering todays and future product data. You will manage the standardization of our product master data, ensure data Governance and enable the organization to efficiently use PIM systems.

Your tasks:

  • ▪ Management of Product Master Data for product information management (PIM)
  • ▪ Integration of product master data within a defined IT tool landscape
  • ▪ Management of product hierarchy in collaboration with Product Managers
  • ▪ Enabling input for marketing activities (e.g. catalogs)
  • ▪ Ensure data Governance and quality
  • ▪ Identifies and analyzes specific market environments and trends to support and drive business strategies from the product data consumer perspective
  • ▪ Develops and implements product data strategies
  • ▪ Leading selected projects and project teams
  • ▪ Support selected BA and Group Sector projects
  • ▪ Support regional & global alignment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Economics, Economical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or similar field
  • ▪ 3+ years professional experience in a B2B environment in at least one of the following functional areas: Product Management, IT, Sales, Marketing, Product Development/Application Engineering or Project Management
  • ▪ Experienced in data management and industrial products
  • ▪ Proven project management and project leadership experience
  • ▪ Proven ability to successfully work in highly diverse global teams
  • ▪ Good organizational, teamwork and problem-solving skills
  •  Excellent multicultural communication and networking skills
  • ▪ Highly proficient user of English language (written & spoken)

Skills Required

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Economical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or similar field
  • 3+ years professional experience in a B2B environment in Product Management, IT, Sales, Marketing, Product Development/Application Engineering or Project Management
  • Experience in data management and industrial products
