As Product Cost Manager, you will be part of an expert team serving of Supply Chain’s authority on product cost analytics and insights. Your mission is to transform complex production cost data into actionable intelligence, enabling informed decisions across the organization.

We are a growing team within a global excellence function, responsible for managing the annual product cost budgeting process and driving standardization in analytical and business processes across Novonesis.
Our team operates within Supply Chain Solutions & Processes, collaborating closely with other expert groups such as Forecast-to-Plan, Plan-to-Produce, and Digital & Analytics.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Leading the development of a robust analytical foundation for product cost management, ensuring governance and consistency through standardized processes and a global cost community. By leveraging advanced data tools and methodologies, you will deliver insights that support strategic decisions across Supply Chain and Supply Chain Leadership areas. Your work will also enable predictive modeling and scenario simulations for manufacturing and innovation optimization.
Key main responsibilities will include:
Building a deep understanding of product cost structures and production processes through data analysis
Enhancing and expanding analytical tools to cover the full Novonesis product portfolio
Leading the design and implementation of new data-driven solutions, including a product cost simulation tool
Providing actionable insights and dashboards for stakeholders using BI and ERP systems
Driving continuous improvement in data governance, reporting standards, and analytical capabilities
To succeed you must hold:
A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Data science or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in production, pilot plant, or process optimization, with strong exposure to cost analysis
A solid understanding of production economics and supply chain processes
Advanced skills in data analytics, BI tools, and ERP systems
Knowledge within these systems: SAP, Knime, Snowflake will be an advantage
Ability to collaborate effectively with IT and cross-functional teams
Further you have:
Good communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders
Project management experience in large, cross-functional initiatives
A proactive, results-driven mindset with urgency to meet business objectives
