As a Product Control Analyst in the Product Control team, you will support financial controllers and trading desks to ensure P&L reporting, balance sheet oversight, and month-end close procedures are completed accurately and on time. You will produce and analyze P&L information, provide reporting to key stakeholders, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve control and reporting issues. You will also support control enhancements and business initiatives through analysis and project support.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with P&L reporting and month-end close processes
  • Produce, consolidate, and analyze daily, monthly, and yearly P&L information
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
  • Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new initiatives
  • Coordinate across front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and on time
  • Support investigations of reporting discrepancies and drive issues to resolution through appropriate follow-up and escalation
  • Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control, including process improvement efforts
  • Handle ad hoc requests and time-sensitive analysis as needed
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, product control, financial control, or a related area
  • Experience with P&L reporting and month-end close processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated interest in challenging current processes and driving improvements

  • Strong accounting background
  • Experience supporting trading desks or markets-related businesses
  • Familiarity with financial products and market drivers of P&L
  • Experience with financial reporting tools or automation approaches
