Job Summary:
The Product Content Psychologist sits within the Product Department’s Content team and applies doctoral-level psychological expertise to the development of PAR’s scholarly and practitioner-facing content. Core responsibilities include interpreting research, conducting basic statistical analyses, and writing white papers, trend papers, blog articles, and case studies that are clinically grounded and accurate. The incumbent contributes to the PARtalks webinar program and develops product training and continuing education (CE) program content in support of PAR’s product development, training, CE, and market presence goals. Drawing on practitioner experience and a broad understanding of school, clinical, personality, and neuropsychological assessment, this role serves as a subject matter expert who represents practitioner needs across content initiatives. As the Content team’s liaison to Marketing, the incumbent functions as the internal Product gatekeeper for reviewing and approving marketing-generated materials for clinical accuracy, appropriate tone, and brand consistency, and coordinates directly with the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing on Product-related needs for go-to-market plans, product launches, and campaign timelines. All content produced in this role is edited by the PAR Marketing Department.

Qualifications

Essential Functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
1.
Writes scholarly and practitioner-facing content, including white papers, trend papers, blog articles, case studies, conference presentation materials, and peer-reviewed publication efforts, that supports PAR’s product development, marketing, and thought leadership goals; submits all written content to the Marketing Department for editing.

Conducts research and performs doctoral-level technical writing and content review duties, including interpretation of published research, test manuals, and internal data, translation of findings into accurate, accessible content for practitioner and non-specialist audiences, review of clinical and psychometric content for scientific accuracy, validity, and consistency, application of APA style, and expert content guidance to PAR editors and writers; adheres to and helps maintain the PAR Product Style Guide and makes recommendations for style updates.

Conducts basic statistical analyses to support content development, product claims, and scholarly marketing activities.

Contributes to the PARtalks webinar program, including topic development, content creation, and presentation of webinars as assigned.

Develops product training and CE program content for inclusion on the PAR training portal, including training materials and slide decks, to support PAR’s product
development, training, and continuing education goals.

Serves as the Content team’s liaison to the Marketing Department and external marketing agency, and functions as the internal Product gatekeeper for reviewing and approving marketing-generated materials prior to release, ensuring clinical accuracy, appropriate tone, and consistency with PAR’s brand standards and POV. Coordinates directly and proactively with the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing on Product-related needs for go-to-market (GTM) plans, product launches, and campaign timelines, ensuring Product requirements are represented early and consistently throughout the marketing planning process.

Serves as a doctoral-level subject matter expert across school, clinical, personality, and neuropsychological assessment; represents practitioner needs and perspectives in content and product decisions; stays current on trends in product training, mental health, and psychological assessment and brings forward new ideas and best practices to colleagues and leadership.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong scholarly writing skills with demonstrated experience applying APA style

Ability to interpret research and synthesize clinical or technical information for practitioner and non-specialist audiences

Ability to conduct basic statistical analyses using tools such as SPSS, R, or Excel

Broad knowledge of school, clinical, personality, and neuropsychological assessment

Education and Experience:

Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD, or EdD) in school, clinical, counseling, or a related area of psychology from an accredited program

Current licensure as a psychologist, to be maintained throughout employment

Minimum of 2-3 years of practitioner experience providing psychological assessment services

Experience with and demonstrated interest in scholarly writing, such as white papers, peer-reviewed publications, or conference presentations

Knowledge of and experience with psychological assessments across multiple domains, including school, clinical, personality, and neuropsychological instruments

Knowledge of APA style

Proficiency with productivity applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Monday.com, and related digital tools
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
