For our business, for clients, and for you
The Product Catalogue & Pricing Specialist supports the Product Management agenda by owning the day-to-day maintenance of the Product Catalogue, rate cards and commercial reference data, and by ensuring pricing logic is implemented consistently across tools and regions. The role is central to keeping catalogue structures, bundles, pricing parameters and margin assumptions aligned, reliable and usable by Sales and the proposal review function.
You will support regional pricing reviews with data, scenarios and clear change proposals, manage the margin calculator content and reference inputs, and translate product and pricing requirements into structured requests for Salesforce CPQ and related commercial platforms. You will work closely with Product, Sales, Finance, Technology and the Salesforce team to deliver clean catalogue improvements and pricing updates through controlled testing and release. You will also contribute to product commercial readiness by ensuring catalogue, pricing and margin changes are correctly implemented, tested and ready for use before launch.
Key outputs include an up-to-date catalogue and rate card set, controlled margin calculator reference inputs, and clear CPQ change requests that are tested and ready for release.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Catalogue Maintenance and Bundling
- Maintain the Product Catalogue structure, definitions and mappings, ensuring consistent representation of products, services, fee items and bundles.
- Maintain and improve bundling logic and dependencies (mandatory, recommended and optional bundles) in line with Product Management direction.
- Identify catalogue gaps, inconsistencies or duplication and propose improvements, working with Product Owners and the Salesforce team to implement agreed changes.
- Rate Cards and Pricing Harmonisation
- Maintain and harmonise rate cards, pricing parameters and minimum fees across regions and segments, ensuring alignment with the group pricing framework.
- Own the change log for rate cards and catalogue related pricing updates, including version control, documentation and communication to stakeholders.
- Support periodic rate card reviews and clean-up efforts to reduce inconsistencies and improve usability for Sales and proposal governance.
- Margin Calculator Management
- Manage the margin calculator reference inputs and assumptions (for example pricing parameters, standard cost drivers, configuration tables and supporting data), under the direction of the Senior Product & Pricing Manager.
- Coordinate updates to the calculator based on approved changes to rate cards, bundles or pricing rules and ensure outputs remain consistent with the pricing framework.
- Support users by preparing guidance and examples and by working with the proposal review function to address recurring issues.
- Regional Pricing Reviews Support
- Prepare the data packs and scenarios used in regional pricing reviews (for example pricing benchmarks, margin trends, discount behaviour and product mix).
- Document decisions and translate outcomes into concrete change requests (rate card updates, bundle adjustments, approval rule updates and system requirements).
- Track implementation progress and confirm completion through testing and stakeholder sign-off.
- Sales Platforms and CPQ Requirements
- Translate catalogue and pricing changes into clear business requirements for Salesforce CPQ and related commercial tools.
- Raise and manage change requests, coordinate testing and support releases with the Salesforce team and Technology teams.
- Validate that catalogue, bundle and pricing representations in sales platforms match the approved catalogue and rate card logic, and that changes behave as expected end-to-end.
- Contribute to product commercial readiness checks by validating pricing, catalogue and bundle behaviour end-to-end in sales platforms and documenting test outcomes.
- Data Quality and Controls
- Monitor quality and completeness of catalogue, rate card and margin reference data and resolve discrepancies, including root cause analysis.
- Maintain clear documentation on key catalogue and pricing rules and definitions to ensure consistent use in reporting and analytics.
- Partner with the Product Analytics & Insights Specialist to align reference data, definitions and mappings used in dashboards and governance materials.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in product, pricing, commercial operations or sales enablement roles, ideally in financial services or other B2B environments.
- Strong working knowledge of product catalogues, rate cards and commercial data structures.
- Experience working with sales platforms and CPQ environments (for example Salesforce CPQ) and translating business needs into structured change requests.
- Experience translating commercial changes into structured requirements, including clear acceptance criteria and test cases.
- Strong attention to detail around data quality, version control and documentation.
- Comfortable coordinating with Product, Sales, Finance, Operations, Technology and the Salesforce team to drive changes through to closure.
