eCommerce Catalog Specialist

We are looking for an eCommerce Catalog Specialist to join our Operations Team!

This highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative Specialist will oversee and manage our internal product catalog. This specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and visibility of product listings on our Bruin platform.  The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with marketing skills to enhance how products are displayed, ensuring both accuracy and a user-friendly experience for our existing customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Catalog Management:
  • Creating a well-organized and informative product catalog that helps customers find and purchase items efficiently. 
  • Manage the creation, maintenance, and optimization of MetTel’s internal product catalog.
  • Ensure accurate, up-to-date product information, including descriptions, pricing, configurations, and associated visuals.
• Listing Specialist
  • Creating and optimizing product listings, including crafting compelling titles, descriptions, and images, as well as conducting keyword research.
  • Create and refine product descriptions and attributes in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
  • Ensure consistent categorization and organization for ease of access and usability by internal stakeholders and customers.
• Billing Integration:
  • Partner with internal billing teams to ensure all products and services are correctly represented on customer invoices.
  • Validate product configurations for seamless integration into the billing system.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure all products are reflected correctly in billing systems and on the Bruin platform.
• Data Integrity and Maintenance:
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records to support internal processes and reporting.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with sales, customer service, marketing, and product teams to address catalog needs and implement feedback.
  • Support the rollout of new products and services by ensuring timely catalog updates and internal alignment.
• Analytics and Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze metrics related to catalog performance, including user interaction on the Bruin platform.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve catalog accuracy, usability, and customer engagement.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a catalog specialist management,or directly related role.
• Strong knowledge of billing system and data management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with enterprise systems such as PIM (Product Information Management) or ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with tax software and compliance standards.
• Background in telecommunications, technology, or a related industry, a plus.
