We are looking for a Product Business Developer (PBD) who will implement the local product strategy for the relevant product group(s) through identifying new business opportunities, monitoring, analysing and communicating business performance. Actively support the achievement, objectives through targeted tactical activity and effective use of resources.
ResponsibilitiesMain resposibilities:
- Set the overall direction for the local unit and revenue budget and channel management for selected product group.
- Accountability for the unit and revenue budget performance of the relevant product group(s) across the different sales channels, actively supporting field sales forces and the Account Planning Processes.
- Continuous review and optimisation of ranging plans to achieve on target performance.
- Communication of product strategy, positioning, pricing, USP’s etc. .to internal and external stakeholder.
- Organize and apply training plan for internal and partner sales on product and general value proposition launches and updates, market updates, competition analysis.
- Support Sales on choosing the most suitable product or product mix for each different deal.
- Be the SPOC to Canon Europe Product Marketing and EDSM Team for every topic related to product lifecycle, informations and availability for an always on support to Canon Italy Sales and Partners.
- Analysis and benchmark with product competitors.
- Able to demonstrate product and solution in our during event or in our Experience Center.
Skills required:
- Degree in economics or related field.
- Fluency in English – written and verbal.
- Advanced knowledge of the Office 365 suite.
- At least 3–5 years’ experience in a product management role within the ICT, printing or office automation sector.
- Ability to deliver presentations and training sessions effectively, clearly and persuasively to the internal sales force and partners.
