What you will be doing

As a Product Support Representative, you will work with FIS clients to provide in-depth product support. You will take incoming inquiries to resolve customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application.

  • Help solve complex issues – some numerate, more technical, minimal code/scripting related to the Prophet application and other associated applications related to Prophet.
  • Provide effective and practical solutions to customers or workarounds where applicable.
  • Assist with software licensing challenges.
  • Develop relationships with international clients & internal FIS staff and assist with techno-functional queries.
  • Become an expert in our Service Now ticketing system as well as support procedures in order to provide end to end support until ticket closure.
  • Contribute to our internal knowledge base library and client support documentation; develop and maintain procedural and policy documentation.
  • Provide excellent communication of information to both external and internal stakeholders

What you bring

  • Suited to an experienced candidate with strong problem-solving expertise in either a software/application support or other technical role. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, mainly Excel and Outlook.
  • A curiosity that makes you Self-motivated with willingness to learn something every day.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Added bonus if you have

  • Mathematical acumen and problem-solving expertise in either a software support or other technical role. Also suited to candidates with experience or a strong interest in software development or insurance software.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and take responsibility for own development
  • Hold a strong sense of ownership and focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Preferably speaking in Korean, Cantonese or Mandarin.
  • Understanding of SQL, XML, Windows Powershell a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud and desktop infrastructure, including workstations, servers, virtual technologies – AWS a plus
