Job Description

As a Product Analyst within our Insights team, you will own product analytics and drive data-driven optimization across our web and mobile platforms. Our Insights team spans the full spectrum of analytics, from data science and deep statistical analysis to dashboarding and product analytics, and you'll play a crucial role in ensuring we have the tracking infrastructure and analytical capabilities to support this breadth of work.

This role combines deep analytical expertise with hands-on tracking implementation, ensuring we capture the right data to deliver superior user experiences and business outcomes. You will be part of a dynamic team where high performance is the baseline and continuous improvement is the norm. Key Responsibilities

  • Product Analytics Ownership: Own and manage product analytics, working closely with Product and Engineering teams to define metrics, analyze user behavior, and identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Collaborate with the Marketing team to analyze performance data and identify strategies for improving conversion rates across various marketing channels.
  • Tracking Implementation & Tag Management: Manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) and implement tracking in Rudderstack to ensure that all required data is captured accurately for analysis across web and mobile platforms.
  • Marketing Platform Integration: Configure and maintain conversion tracking setups across marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn) to ensure accurate attribution and campaign performance measurement.
  • Customer Data Platform Management: Oversee our CDP (Rudderstack) to integrate and manage customer data for improved analytics and personalized marketing.
  • Tracking Plans: Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive tracking plans, providing clear guidelines for correct implementation and ensuring data consistency across all platforms.
  • Analytics Platform Management: Own our Amplitude analytics platform, ensuring proper implementation, governance, and enabling teams across the organization to leverage product analytics effectively.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve tracking issues, optimizing the quality and reliability of data.

Qualifications

You will have/be:

  • Product analytics experience with the ability to define metrics, analyze user journeys, and translate insights into product and business recommendations
  • 2-3 years of experience with web or mobile event tracking - this is essential
  • Proficient in managing Google Tag Manager (GTM) and familiarity with Rudderstack or similar CDP platform for data collection and management
  • Skilled in creating detailed tracking plans and able to ensure their implementation across multiple platforms and systems
  • problem-solver with the ability to diagnose and fix tracking issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Strong analytical skills, with ideally with experience in conversion rate optimization and a thorough understanding of digital marketing metrics
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and other stakeholders in a remote environment
  • Comfortable working autonomously and proactively in a fully remote setting
