UHC Payment Integrity (PI) in partnership with Optum PI, Optum Analytics and the UHG CDO office are in the process of building a scalable data intel and performance delivery solution that will provide the necessary data insights, management controls and business intelligence to more effectively run the business and modernize data to drive growth and enhanced Provider experiences.
This effort will result in a scalable solution offering four key capabilities that include but are not limited to, a secure single source of truth PI claims data repository, interactive data visualization capabilities (financial, operational, experience), integrated early alert and management remediation controls and an advanced data center that enables the use of advanced analytic APP leveraging AI/ML to modernize data.
The Product Analyst will support the product team as they capture all end-end business requirements to firmly establish the product vision, value story and product roadmap. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple teams to support oversight of the end-end delivery process.
The Product Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Product team as they function as the voice of the customer within product and engineering teams to ensure the specification, prioritization, delivery, and commercialization of DOCC products.
The DOCC team combines claims and PI expertise with technology and analytics to support better decision-making and deliver innovative solutions that strengthen our mission to support effective running of the PI business as well as creating AI products to drive growth and enhanced Provider experiences.
As Product Analyst, you will support the Product team as they define and prioritize features, collaborate with agile teams, and deliver marketable solutions, focusing on data and AI-driven products.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the product team as they develop and enhance products that address customer needs and priorities, creating solutions that truly make an impact
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, data, analytics, engineering to keep the customer perspective at the heart of every decision
  • Support management of the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment, support, and change management
  • Support Product Leads and business teams as they identify opportunities for product and service improvements
  • Support the product team as they evaluate solutions and balance value against cost throughout development
  • Support ongoing product performance, expansion, financial health, roadmap, and end-of-life decisions as appropriate

Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of agile software development and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer-centric product design and development
  • Proven experience in supporting project delivery with multi-stakeholder engagement
  • Proven intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Visio etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven knowledge or experience of healthcare, claims, payment integrity or related domains
  • Proven knowledge or experience of AHA! and RALLY software platforms
  • Proven knowledge or experience of the uses of AI/ML
