As a Compliance Product Analyst, you will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, Cyber Security, and external partners. This cross-functional role is focused on ensuring cyber, privacy, risk, and audit compliance across all domain applications.

The role involves engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements in compliance practices, promote awareness, and help strengthen governance across the technology environment..
 
Your role will work with the organisation to help stakeholders improve their processes and systems and support the delivery of new features, enhancements and initiatives. You will also govern service partners to ensure product features are delivered to commitments, meets business requirements and service levels.  As the Product Analyst, you will have a customer-centric mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
 

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the areas of Business or Systems Analysis, Product or IT Support or related disciplines, with a focus on Privacy, Cyber and Risk.
  • Works with internal teams, external suppliers, and audit functions to ensure adherence to established cyber processes, practices, and standards.
  • Experience in overseeing governance for sensitive information, including personal data, payment card details, and other regulated information types, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with applicable standards and frameworks.
  • Ability to collaborate with suppliers and Cyber teams to strengthen security posture by continuously assessing risks, identifying improvement opportunities, and anticipating future requirements.
  • Experience in security management practices, risk management, vulnerability management and penetration testing.   
  • Aviation or travel industry experience is desirable, inclusive of Amadeus systems.
  • Proven track record of operating in IT Delivery environments from concept to BAU
  • Understanding and use of modern delivery frameworks and their methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, lean, design thinking, human-centred design, multivariate testing, continuous improvement, test automation and others
  • Proven ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve, and lead the
    solving of, strategic problems
  • Prior experience with, and strong comfort using, collaboration tools such as JIRA and
    Confluence to document and manage stories and other documentation
  • Experience in working with data sets to deduce accurate insights
  • Demonstrated ability to partner, coach, and collaborate across multiple functions and
    levels
  • Demonstrated technical expertise, utilising a depth and breadth of knowledge and
    practical experience within a specific technical area. Stays up to date with regulatory
    and other change in the technical area, and understands how they apply to Qantas
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work cross-functionally and align business unit processes to enterprise business processes
  • Proven ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve, and lead the solving of, strategic problems
  • Strong experience in working with data sets to deduce accurate insights
  • Experience with product requirements gathering, analysis and management for business cases
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge
  • Proven track record of operating in IT Delivery environments from concept to BAU
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to various audiences
  • Experience in Operations and / or working in ongoing product lifecycle.
