The Role

Description

 Location: Cambridge, UK (remote-friendly within the UK) with occasional travel to the office once per quarter.

Want to work for a department that is at the heart of player, product, and business insights of our titles?

Working in the Analytics, Data Sciences and Data Engineering (ADSE) team, your focus will be on supporting Games Operations – including Player Support, Localisation, Anti-Cheating, and Games Ops Development. To be successful in this role, you'll need to be able to merge analytical skill with game knowledge to drive incredible player experiences.

As a Product Analyst, you'll deliver product-focused insights, monitor key operational metrics, and support teams with data needed to understand and improve the player experience across core operational areas.

What you'll be doing:

  • Grow relationships across the game operations team to promote a data-driven partnership 
  • Generate hypotheses and guidance across many types of data across many groups to grow and improve our games with support from lead/senior product analysts
  • Query and analyze big data to uncover insights with impact to improve player experience.  
  • Partner closely with game operations and engineering teams in collating and maintaining data sources to better understand operations quality
  • Work on insights projects that guide decisions on product and feature roadmaps, using a variety of data sources
  • Drive deep, impactful learnings by working across data, operations and research to deliver a story driven direction based in data with support from lead/senior product analysts.
  • Present analysis conclusions to business stakeholders in a clear and practical way.  
  • Partner with data engineering to manage data requirements such as schema requirements and data format to support high-quality deliverables.  
  • Conduct effective analysis while adhering version control, documentation, and reproducibility.  

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent experience 
  • Familiarity with modern data architectures (AWS, Snowflake, OLAP) 
  • Familiarity of SQL, Python or R, Statistical Modeling & Data Cleansing Techniques 
  • Experience using modern data visualization tools e.g Tableau, PowerBI etc
  • Crafting a clear message for your audience using data in a simple to understand manner
