Summary:

We are seeking a product analyst who is business-savvy, proactive, intellectually curious, and an analytics powerhouse to lead, own, and deliver in-depth analyses of large-scale data problems to influence numerous aspects of business performance. You will be a leader in the Product Analytics team that supports our consumer products, including our flagship product: ABCmouse. Contribution will come in the form of defining data capture requirements, verifying data integrity, data manipulation, business monitoring, data visualization, and in-depth analyses. Your insights will be instrumental in optimizing conversion rates, driving user engagement, and maximizing our product’s impact on children’s learning outcomes. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Marketing Stakeholders: Address core opportunities in our offer pages and subscription flows, ultimately optimizing the customer journey for maximum impact. 
  • Champion Testing Strategies: Drive A/B and multivariate testing initiatives and implementation across desktop and mobile platforms. 
  • Define Success: Set and monitor the KPIs that ensure the successful iteration and global expansion of our consumer products. 
  • Master Data Interpretation: Own data analyses to understand how user behavior impacts KPIs. Your analytical skills will be at the heart of understanding our customers.
  • Lead with Statistics: Develop and execute statistical analyses to understand customer behavior and product performance, ensuring that every decision is data-driven and precise 
  • Visualize with Impact: Create compelling and informative automated/real-time dashboards and visualizations. Your work should empower stakeholders to make informed decisions with confidence. 
  • Deliver Actionable Insights: Identify actionable insights that positively affect both company performance and learning outcomes for children.
  • Communicate with Clarity: Communicate results to a diverse range of stakeholders in a concise and impactful manner. 
  • Ensure Data Excellence: Partner with marketing, product, and engineering teams to define data capture and data integrity requirements while maintaining a vigilant eye on data quality. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 6+ years in a high-impact analytical role within large-scale, successful digital products. Experience in games or edtech, as well as finance is a big plus! 
  • Expertise: Extensive experience with A/B testing and a deep understanding of data analysis. You excel at synthesizing large volumes of data and complex questions into clear analyses and actionable findings. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in complex SQL queries on big data sets with experience in data transformation and modeling using dbt a plus. Fluency in Tableau and Excel is essential; additional data visualization capabilities are a plus. 
  • Analytical Prowess: Able to perform statistical analysis and create visualizations using R or Python.
  • Education Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (such as analytics, statistics, applied math, data science, economics, or computer science) from a four-year college or university. 
  • Mindset: You are a curious, motivated self-starter who thrives in a collaborative high-performing team environment. Your passion for high-quality, insightful data analyses is unmatched. Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude is key. 

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $120,000 USD to $150,000 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
