We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated contributor to join our team in one of our key office locations: San Francisco.
About the Internship
We are looking for ambitious students currently pursuing an engineering degree who are ready to gain hands-on experience and contribute to real-world challenges. This internship will involve working on a focused, impactful project within GTM-CX (Go To Market Customer/ Support Experience) space in Salesforce allowing you to create innovative value for our customers. Work with key GTM systems and applications like Salesforce, Coveo, Qualtrics, Skilljar and other technologies which provide the critical infrastructure to support successful go-to-market organizations. We are looking for problem solvers who care about making a meaningful impact and enjoy working as part of a collaborative, distributed team. As an Intern, you will be supported along the way and will have opportunities for continuous learning and mentorship.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Assist in the requirements gathering, design and implementation of scalable, reusable, and maintainable software components.
- Learn and work with engineering teams in Agile Methodology to understand project scope and participate in our planning process.
- Assist the product team in analyzing data to understand patterns, usage & provide recommendations.
- Participate in test-driven development, design, and code reviews.
- Contribute iterative improvements to our systems under guidance.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Product Management, Security, and Design teams to solve cross functional challenges.
Who We Are Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, and graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
- A problem solving mindset and the ability to think critically about complex problems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work autonomously and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Okta’s Intern Program
As an intern, you will do real work that matters. While you are on board, you will work on meaningful projects and have an opportunity to see what working at Okta is all about. You will also have the assistance of your mentor and manager to help you develop new skills.
Our interns have the opportunity to build a strong community, with their fellow interns, within their teams, and with the broader company. We want you to grow professionally and you will do that through participating in events like our Executive Speaker Series and Brown Bags. And of course, we want you to have fun too.
We offer 12-week summer internships in the U.S. with two available start dates. You may choose from the following options: May 26 – August 14 or June 15 – September 4.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in San Francisco Bay Area. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
