We’re seeking a driven, results­-oriented, problem solver to join the Analytics team. In this role, you will use your analytical and strategic experience to create data-driven business recommendations that drive key product, marketing and ecosystem decisions across the Credit Karma platform. If you love tackling complex, large-scale analytics challenges, this role could be for you.

What you’ll do

Work with cross-functional partners across partnerships, product management, marketing, data science and engineering to optimize the performance of the Credit Karma product and ecosystem.

  • Understand the overall Credit Karma ecosystem and help bridge analytics across product, marketing, external environment and identify opportunities for growth
  • Perform exploratory analysis to generate hypotheses, drive product strategy, identify gaps, and size opportunities for new features for one or more product areas 
  • Conduct analyses and design tests to support new launches, drive improvements to existing features, and inform the product and marketing roadmaps
  • Develop learning agendas and test plans to support agile, data-driven decision-making
  • Partner with engineering and business intelligence to ensure proper tracking instrumentation of new products and tests
  • Support ongoing analysis and monitoring of revenue funnels across the platform
  • Predict revenue impact from changes in pricing, underwriting, approval models, and user behavior

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years of analytics experience and BS/MS in Business, Economics, Engineering, Math, or Statistics.
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL 
  • 1+ years of experience with A/B testing and/or knowledge of statistical techniques such as experiment design, significance testing, and causal inference
  • 1+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Looker/Tableau for insight synthesis and presentation
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheet skills

What we would like to see: 

  • Exposure to Python and/or R 
  • Experience with software development a huge plus, especially in building automation and predictive models
  • Background in technology and/or financial services is a plus 
  • Ability to problem-solve and understand key drivers of the business
  • Great communication skills with analysts and non-analysts alike
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
