We are currently looking for a Product Analyst to support Charles Schwab's Digital Rep Solutions group as a key member of the "Client Central" team. This person will be responsible for the product management of the platform used by Schwab's front line and back-office professionals to deliver industry leading service to Schwab clients.
The capabilities supported by this platform are critical to ensuring strong and reliable relationships between our service, operations and specialty teams and our clients. In the Product Analyst capacity, there is a tremendous opportunity to make a positive contribution to the rep experience as we support and enhance these capabilities at Schwab.
As a Product Analyst, individuals will have responsibility in supporting the management and welfare of the enterprise platform at all stages of its lifecycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include hands-on administration and issue resolution for the platform. This includes analyzing the needs of business stakeholders, translating feature requirements into a business specification, and supporting the phases of delivery for enhancements and cross-platform project deployments.
This individual must collaborate effectively with diverse business and technology partners across the firm, leveraging cross functional teams to help deliver end-user-delighting experiences that balance tight timelines with multiple priorities (and risks) while exercising good business judgement.
Key responsibilities of this Product Analyst role include:
- Collect, document, and validate business requirements, process flows, user testing strategies, as well as translate functional requirements to technical requirements, and identify scalable solutions
- Conduct interviews with internal stakeholders; manage feedback to gain insights into future product development
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams and end-users to create solutions that deliver value in supporting roadmaps and future-state vision
- Help drive stakeholder and organizational alignment on product priorities, business strategy, trade-off decisions and investment
- Support the creation of detailed business requirements to define product features as well as the user experience
- Function as Product Analyst and utilize Agile methodology to collaborate with the PO, development and QA teams to manage implementation of technology projects
- Maintain a strong band of communication between the team, internal business partners and leaders
- Assist in driving alignment and understanding of priorities, business strategy, trade-off decisions and investment
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Agile methods and process
- Strong analytical and project management experience
- Tenacity, a bias for action and the ability to overcome obstacles and successfully execute on multiple projects simultaneously, at times under extremely tight deadlines
- Must be a creative thinker and have a keen interest in ensuring the best possible experience for our users and, ultimately, our clients
- Knowledge of the financial services industry
- Strong communication skills
- A fine attention to detail and a disciplined approach to developing applications
