Boeing is currently looking for a Product Acceptance Specialist to join their team in San Antonio, TX to support the C-17 program for the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
The selected candidates are responsible for, but not limited to, performing tasks in the areas including process, product and receiving inspection on sites, partnering with customers for discrepancy resolution, being actively engaged in improvement projects and corrective actions. First Pass Quality is a top priority when work is completed.
Position Responsibilities:
Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
• Provides objective evidence of results
• Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures
• Perform inspections, auditing, surveillance and monitoring
• Identifies and documents discrepancies
• Segregates and controls non-conforming items
• Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
• Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification
• Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action
• Able to conduct product review with our customers during product or process verification.
• Able to perform preliminary review and disposition of NCRs with no additional supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality or experience in a regulated industry
• 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• 3+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 3+ years of experience full understanding of conforming and Non-conforming parts tagging and control requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Associate's degree or higher
• 2+ years of experience identifying, root cause analysis and corrective actions
• 2+ years of experience working in a cross functional work environment
• 1+ years of experience in a formal or informal team leadership role
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Starting Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000/Annually
