As a Producibility Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will support the quality and compliance of system, software, and hardware development activities for avionics products. As a member of the Product Development Quality Assurance team, you will participate in requirements, design, integration, and test reviews, ensuring development processes are effective and properly documented.
You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Brno, Czech Republic location on an Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will conduct process audits, review development and verification activities, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as ARP4754, DO-178C, and DO-254. Your work will contribute to the delivery of safe, reliable, and certifiable avionics products.
Responsibilities- Perform quality assurance work on the system/software/hardware development activities for various avionics products.
- Act as an integral member of the AEE Product Development Quality Assurance team.
- Act as an advocate in assuring the hardware development processes are capable, effective, ensuring that artifacts are in place as evidence to support the execution of those processes.
- Participate in requirements, design, inegration, test reviews/inspections.
- Conduct activities stated at PDQA process such as audits, of the design, development and verification activities.
- Ensure that development/verification activities performed are compliant with aviation industry standards like ARP 4754, DO-178, DO-254.
- Work closely with the counterpart PDQA teams in U.S. and HTS
- Work closely with the Honeywell Certification Experts and engineering process groups.
- Participate in Regulatory and Customer Audits for compliance and certification.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer science or related field
- 1-3 years IT and/or engineering background
- Expirenece with MS Office tools including MS Word, MS Access and MS Excel
- Written and spoken English at least B2
