Description

Location: Cambridge, UK – (Remote available within the UK with team onsite days in the Cambridge office approx. 4 times per year)

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced producer, with a passion for leading game development teams and ensuring excellent quality at every milestone?

As a Producer on RuneScape: Dragonwilds, our new open world survival crafting game currently in early access and developed in UE5, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running and development of critical game features and initiatives.

Working closely with Directors, Leads, and the wider development team, you’ll help shape the processes and practices that drive development forward, focusing on quality, clarity, and results.

You’ll use your experience in full lifecycle game development and your ability to balance priorities, resources, and expectations to keep your teams aligned, empowered, and delivering on their objectives. From roadmap planning to problem-solving and cross-functional coordination, your contribution will be key to creating a collaborative and high-performing production culture.

This is a hands-on and highly collaborative position. We’re looking for someone who leads by example, is deeply player and quality focused,

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own key areas of game delivery through all phases of production.
  • Partner closely with the Senior Producer, Development Director, and Production team to deliver roadmap objectives and long-term development goals.
  • Collaborate with Leads and Directors to align expectations and priorities across design, technical, and content features.
  • Serve as the first line of contact for day-to-day development within your areas, adapting production processes to fit the unique needs of each team.
  • Monitor team progress and provide regular updates on status, risks, and key accomplishments.
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively, developing mitigation strategies that support both the team and product quality.
  • Facilitate cross-discipline communication to tackle blockers, manage dependencies, and maintain clarity across shared responsibilities.
  • Track and communicate decisions, actions, and outcomes effectively to ensure project alignment.
  • Champion best practices across production and provide mentoring to junior team members.
  • Promote a healthy, collaborative, and communicative team culture that supports well-being and high performance.
  • Conduct retrospectives and post-mortems, ensuring feedback is translated into actionable improvements.

What we’re looking for:

  • Shipped one or more games as a Producer or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of game development workflows, priorities, and production lifecycles.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Shotgun, or similar project tracking tools.
  • A proactive communicator who builds trust and clarity across teams.
  • A team motivator who builds positive, productive relationships across disciplines.
  • A strong understanding of the games industry with a passion for quality and player-focused development.
