We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Producer, Industry Events to join our team. The Producer, Industry Events will strategize and lead the logistics for all of our third-party event presence, from happy hours to sponsorship booths and everything in between.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about event management, thrives in fast-paced environments, and excels in operational execution. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing complex logistics, working with large cross-functional teams, and representing a brand on global stages. This role is open to candidates in NYC area or to globally remote candidates. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop and drive strategies for Avalanche’s presence at third-party industry events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and department objectives
• Oversee and execute all logistical aspects of event planning
• Build and implement detailed project plan timelines to track progress
• Produce accurate bottom-up estimates, track expenses, reconcile invoices, and sustain financial performance for each event
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics for success and measure conversion goals for each event
• Advise and influence teams by tailoring professional recommendations to different audiences, often addressing complex challenges
• Empower internal teams to independently plan their own events by developing process guidelines and education
• Maintain positive vendor relationships, negotiating contracts that ensure high-quality results
• Represent and oversee the Avalanche brand on-site, managing teams to ensure smooth setup, execution, and teardown
• Supervise and delegate responsibilities to contractors and temporary event staff as needed
• Analyze and report event success and ROI through post-event retrospectives, and identify and implement opportunities for improvement
• Show an eagerness to stay informed on Web3 industry trends

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of event production and strategy experience 
  • Experience with Web3, blockchain, and crypto is desired but not required
  • Ability to travel globally 30+% of time
• Advanced knowledge of:
  • Event production & logistics

  • 3rd party sponsorship and planning experience

• Proficient knowledge of:

Salary Range: $87,594 to $109,492
