As a Procurement Supervisor, you will lead procurement activities supporting manufacturing operations by driving sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and commercial negotiations.

About the Job:

  • Lead procurement projects impacting current sourcing processes, supplier relationships, and operational performance.

  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize pricing, delivery terms, quality, and supply continuity for key materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

  • Review existing supplier agreements and identify opportunities for renegotiation to improve commercial terms, cost competitiveness, and service performance.

  • Lead supplier negotiations and commercial discussions to secure favorable pricing, contracts, and long-term partnerships.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Business Unit stakeholders to support ongoing business requirements and new product development initiatives.

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers capable of supporting technical, operational, and commercial requirements.

  • Support cross-functional projects related to manufacturing, engineering changes, product launches, and supply chain optimization activities.

  • Monitor supplier performance and support corrective actions to address quality, delivery, or service-related issues.

  • Analyze procurement and supplier data to identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.

  • Recommend and drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes, systems, and supplier management practices.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual requirements, and corporate standards.

  • Coach, support, and manage team activities while maintaining accountability for team performance, development, and execution of procurement objectives.

  • Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support long-term business goals.

  • Support risk mitigation activities related to supply continuity, supplier performance, and market changes.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing methodologies.

  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations and cross-functional business initiatives.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and develop practical business solutions.

  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Experience working within global manufacturing organizations is preferred.

  • Previous experience leading, coaching, or supervising team members is advantageous.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
