Procurement Strategic Sourcing Lead

Squarespace is looking for a Procurement Strategic Sourcing Lead (indirect) to join our growing procurement team within our Finance Department. You will act as an advisory and subject matter sourcing expert for multiple indirect categories including IT, Workplace Services and others. Collaborating with business leaders and stakeholders, you will proactively identify opportunities to reduce costs, negotiate supplier contracts and ensure we are receiving competitive pricing without compromising quality.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Procurement and Sales Operations and will be based in New York. This role is considered a hybrid role and is expected to be onsite 2-3 days per week.

You'll Get To…

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers that are cost-effective and equitable by partnering closely with business stakeholders;
• Conduct market research, cost estimates, and forecasts to help drive informed decision making and negotiations with suppliers;
• Proactively identify cost savings opportunities by analyzing indirect procurement expenditures and collaborate with key stakeholders to plan how those opportunities will be pursued;
• Manage the end-to-end competitive sourcing process including RFPs and supplier selection and provide leadership and direction to stakeholders;
• Develop and drive a category strategy, specifically for IT and Engineering departments, that optimizes value, considers stakeholder needs and aligns with departmental and company goals;
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers;
• Oversee and help to drive adoption of the end-to-end procurement process;
• Assist with procurement intake request triaging, supporting procurement operations and identifying opportunities for contract negotiations;
• Partner with key stakeholders including Finance, Accounting, Legal, Security and business units to identify opportunities for improvement and execute strategies that will drive value and create efficiencies across the procurement function;
• Establish and report out on KPI metrics including cost savings and avoidance;
• Work autonomously, proactively identifying process improvement opportunities and drive projects from inception to completion.

Who We're Looking For

• 7+ years of combined indirect procurement experience with a focus on managing IT spend.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or similar
• Experience with Zip Intake, Zip Sourcing, and Coupa P2P systems a huge plus
• You love to work collaboratively to solve ambiguous problems
• Autonomous, with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail

Cash Compensation Range: $126,500 - $203,550 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to receive an incentive award as part of their total compensation.
