Under general supervision, this position is responsible for supporting tactical procurement operations across assigned categories and business units. The incumbent will assist in executing sourcing strategies, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and systems. This role blends foundational procurement knowledge with cross-functional collaboration to deliver efficient and accurate procurement services.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze spend data to identify sourcing opportunities for small-scale projects and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Support assigned spend categories by assisting with sourcing strategies, supplier implementation, and stakeholder engagement
- Maintain procurement systems and support technology solutions including contract, catalog, and inventory management platforms
- Assist with contract negotiations and renewals to ensure alignment with business needs and minimize risk
- Provide accurate and user-friendly procurement services including P2P support, invoice validation, and catalog maintenance
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Conduct basic reporting and spend analysis to support sourcing decisions and track savings and risk mitigation
- Maintain system data integrity and support internal controls to ensure compliance with procurement policies
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to promote procurement as a trusted business partner
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 1-3 or more years of experience in procurement and supply chain management and/or military equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance or Logistics AND 1-3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management and/or military equivalent
- Ability to manage the end to end procurement process
- Experience conducting RFx events
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts and license agreements for goods and services
- Experience with spend analytics, supplier management, negotiation, and category management
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Excel, and the ability to leverage where necessary other reporting and analysis tools
- Expert-level financial, quantitative, and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of spend optimization and consolidation
- Basic knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology and process is a plus
- Experience with extracting data from structured and unstructured data sources is a plus
- Experience with one or more enterprise procurement systems is a plus

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
