Job Purpose:

As a Procurement Specialist here at TD SYNNEX, you'll play a crucial role in bolstering our trading relationships with vendors and ensuring competitive advantage through strategic inventory planning and procurement. Collaborating closely with the IPP Analyst team and Product Marketing, you'll contribute to the efficiency and success of our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

The Procurement Specialist role entails placing orders based on IPP Analyst team profiles, considering logistics efficiency requirements, conducting back-to-back ordering for products lacking an established run rate, and executing direct ship purchase orders with vendors, ensuring accuracy in product details, pricing, and delivery dates while adhering to authorized sign-off limits. It involves verifying vendor order confirmations for accuracy and updating systems accordingly, expediting open orders to maximize customer satisfaction and maintain high accuracy in SAP. Additionally, the role includes assisting the IPP Analyst team with vendor price changes, managing the stock rotation process by obtaining authorization references, raising Return to Vendor orders, and validating returns. The Specialist also supports the IPP Analyst team in promptly resolving Logistics and Finance queries, adheres to company policies and procedures, continuously reviewing and updating them as necessary, takes ownership of ad hoc projects assigned by IPP Management, and provides exceptional service, support, and accuracy to the IPP team.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Effective communication skills with both internal and external partners.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of current IT technologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) , inventory replenishment systems (SAP R3 preferred) and CRM tools (a high plus)
  • Focused, proactive, and committed attitude towards achieving action plans.
  • Sound understanding of basic purchasing and inventory principles.
  • Proficiency in English (high level) and proficiency in any other EU language is a plus.
