About the Role
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations for Careem in Jordan. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of goods and services.


What you’ll do 

  • Markets:  scope covering Jordan and Egypt.
  • Execute sourcing activities (RFQs/RFPs), supplier selection, and commercial evaluations.
  • Manage vendor relationships, onboarding, and performance tracking.
  • Support contract drafting, negotiation, and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Analyze spend data to identify savings, efficiencies, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver procurement support.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of procurement/sourcing experience (tech, mobility, FMCG, or similar preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local supplier markets in Jordan; English & Arabic proficiency.
  • Experience with procurement tools/systems is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
  • Attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for driving efficiencies and enabling business operations.
