About the Role
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations for Careem in Jordan. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of goods and services.
What you’ll do
- Markets: scope covering Jordan and Egypt.
- Execute sourcing activities (RFQs/RFPs), supplier selection, and commercial evaluations.
- Manage vendor relationships, onboarding, and performance tracking.
- Support contract drafting, negotiation, and compliance with procurement policies.
- Analyze spend data to identify savings, efficiencies, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver procurement support.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
- 4–6 years of procurement/sourcing experience (tech, mobility, FMCG, or similar preferred).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local supplier markets in Jordan; English & Arabic proficiency.
- Experience with procurement tools/systems is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
- Attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for driving efficiencies and enabling business operations.
