Serves as first point of contact for suppliers related to GTCI Procurement. Leads the entire procurement of spend related to the center and supports Procurement Operations Manager with strategic supplier relationships through data-driven recommendations. Primary responsibilities of the position includes;
- Managing the procurement of GTCI spending including all IT/HR/Consumables/Logictics/Real Estate/HR and Professional Services spend for GTCI Hyderabad office and execution of Sourcing process.
- Position is responsible for handling all the activities related to daily Procurement operations in GTCI.
- Job profile to include Processing of Purchase Requisitions / Shopping Carts raised by end users with proper documentation required as per Procurement Policy.
- Follow up for timely delivery of material along with Invoice and Purchase Order discrepancy resolution
- Manage spend through the Goodyear 7-step sourcing process.
- Preparing executive reports to meet local, regional and global reporting requirements and driving savings projects to reduce cost
- Interaction with end user for full specification of material and job works.
- Follow up with vendor for any clarity/Grievance related to material supplied or services provided
- Close working with receiving functions to monitor the receipt and rejection of material and ensure the Procure to Pay cycle is completed.
- Managing Creation of new vendor codes and updations of Global systems as per internal requirements and policies
- Executes sourcing strategies within geographical scope, ensuring consistency with Global Category teams by working closely with the Category Leads
- Develop relationships with local and regional suppliers to support GTCI business needs.
- Associate to drive projects across GTCI spending and deliver savings to meet the business goals. Drive the overall efficiency of the Procurement Operations Savings projects
- Ensures appropriate collaborative communication is occurring between strategic sourcing teams and shared services transactional teams
