About the Role
Cloudflare's Corporate Procurement Specialist is responsible for administering our procurement policies and processes, as well as purchasing vital goods and services at optimal pricing. We are seeking an experienced professional to handle the tactical execution of the end-to-end procurement process and conduct supplier management activities. This role will serve as the internal point of contact for key business functions.
An effective Procurement Specialist develops efficient procurement solutions and supports senior management in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, particularly Coupa.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate the creation of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders within Coupa.
- Manage order receipt, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Work closely with the Infrastructure team to coordinate procurement needs and resolve order-related issues.
- Maintain vendor relationships by addressing order discrepancies and ensuring smooth transactions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Lead procurement administration efforts, with a strong focus on Coupa.
- Partner with Legal and Security teams during new vendor onboarding to ensure business requirements are met from the outset.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Procurement function.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement efficient procurement solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to articulate contractual, technical, financial and value points. Self-directed and self-motivated; excellent communicator and ability to build trust with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Coupa software.
