Procurement Specialist

Your Role
The Aptiv North America Connection Systems (NA CS) team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated Procurement Specialist to support the ReSale Business. The successful candidate will be the face of Aptiv in PC&L activities in procuring Finished Goods to support Customer Requirements.
Key job responsibilities for this role include:
- Monitor and track supplier purchase orders and forecasts on a timely basis to ensure timely availability of materials
- Monitor vendor Shipments to Requirements for supplier shipment conformance
- Coordinate Supplier forecast to Support Customer Demands
- Strategize and control material to meet inventory goals
- Manage materials using SAP
- Monitor logistics in the materials movement, planning and expediting to support customer
- New program start-up co-ordination
- Program management Support for PC&L activities
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in (Logistics/Supply Chain/Business) and/or 2-yrs experience
- Experience in Production Control and/or Logistics
- SAP experience is required
- Strong Microsoft skills & analytical skills required
- Previous Procurement and/or Production Control experience
- Supply Chain Experience
- Strong Communication skills with Manufacturing Suppliers
