The Procurement Specialist will support the Paper Packaging Team by managing categories, performing data analysis, running reports, and improving procurement processes. Responsibilities include collaborating with business units, providing research support, and understanding market dynamics.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager you, the Procurement Specialist, will support the Paper Packaging Team. You'll be accountable for category management, research, high-level problem resolution, master data analysis, transaction processing and report running. You will collaborate with other business units to identify process improvement opportunities.

You Will:

  • Manage the Rollstock Packaging category and help support the Corrugated Packaging and Displays Categories. 
  • Develop an understanding of market dynamics and cost drivers.
  • Run different reports on a scheduled basis and provide supporting analytics
  • Manage procurement master data in SAP and Right Angle to help improve process efficiencies.
  • Build relationships with different cross-functional contacts
  • Support business process improvements and documentation
  • Provide research and analytical support for different issues and ad hoc projects
  • Develop an understanding of SAP MRP processes and data
  • Develop an understanding of company facilities and requirements, capabilities, processes,

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance; Economics or Agricultural
  • 2+ year experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance or Sales.
  • Experience analyzing data with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience using SAP or comparable ERP systems
  • Excel – vlookups, formula relationships, pivot tables,
  • Detail Oriented
  • Minimal travel required.
  • 3 Days in the Omaha Office Tuesday - Thursday
