Quality Tank Solutions (QTS) is seeking experienced, full-time Procurement Specialist to join our teams in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will be schedule driven with savvy negotiation skills, be highly organized, a relationship builder, customer service driven, and a team player. This candidate will also have three years related work experience with a purchasing background.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create purchase orders
- Cycle counting and inventory management
- Procure and Expedite materials in a timely manner
- Develop, implement, and maintain an inventory strategy that supports our company's supply chain
- Build and manage positive vendor and supplier relationships
- Support Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of related work experience with a purchasing background
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills computer skills proficient in various computer software programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, VLOOKUP etc.)
- Professional demeanor
- Inventory Data Management
- Thrives in high-speed settings & uses strong time-management skills to meet deadlines
- Managed efficient supply chains that reduced delivery times and costs
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently
- Willing to be a team player
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus but not required.
